Mr. Gatsby's real name is JamesGatz. Dan Cody was a friend.... Gatsby locked him up one day so he wouldn't be able to drink which is nice of Gatsby.  :)  When Cody died, Gatsby inherited 25,000 dollars from him this explains where he got all of his money. I think..... Gatsby threw a party and Tom and Daisy came. Daisy hung out with Gatsby but it seemed very awkward since tom, her husband, was there and he might find out about daisy and Gatsby........
